no, they are not "necessary" but, if you want your jeep to drive nicely ON PAVEMENT, yeah, you will want them. again, all you really need are the front adjustable lowers so that you can set your caster. if you do not set your caster with more positive angle, your jeep will wander on the highway and in some cases, help instigate death wobble. if you have a 2-door, the angle of your drive shaft will be very steep and that will cause the cv boots to fail and subsequently cause the joints to go as well. once this happens, you will need a new u-joint style drive shaft and the only way to set the pinion angle - which is necessary - new rear upper adjustable arms are needed.

but, it's your jeep and you can spend whatever you want on it.

Ok, front arms, coils, the adjustments. what about shocks, uneccessary?? If the shocks I have in a ruby are made for the suspension that is on it now, why would they be transferable to 3 more inches?

no, you need new shocks if your running stock rubicon shocks

if you don't install new shocks, you will greatly limit the amount of droop you get on the trail as the shocks will practically be fully extended on level ground. need i say, you need new and longer shocks.

Here you go. $679.99 for a 2.5" coil kit with shocks that works great with 35's.

your still going to need a rear shaft (eventually) maybe sooner, maybe later and control arms when you get the new shaft.

OP?
I just liek a bottom line. you know, like a "you need new.... and.... and if you dont want your rig to explode then you need..." thats it.
so that terreflex and the arms huh. So your saying the best way to maintain the life and love of my beepjeep is to get an entire susspension system for 2000$ and anything less will give me the look I want and perhaps the feel but could cause other problems soon, so to nip it in the butt, spend the money.?.
