Fox 2.0 RR Shock Broken

It appears that my passenger front shock body separated from the upper mount after almost a year of use. Is this a common occurrence? I've asked David at Northridge 4x4 for a replacement as it's been less than a year and Northridge is awesome.

Under hard flex the body of the shock can press against the frame putting alot of sideways stress on the shock. Could have caused that.
See in this pic where it's on frame rail.

I used the Nemeisis shock brackets on my Dana 30 to move them out for clearance.
The PR 44 already had the brackets moved out a bit when I got it.

Fox are very popular here (Israel), and for a reason - they're very reliable.
I know quite a few people with Fox, for years, and this is the first time I see such a thing.
Personally, I haven't had any problem with Fox shocks on my JKUR.

It probably broke because of faulty installation. I'd check the other side too, for signs of pressure.
