I am either going to buy a set of Fox non resi shocks or The Bilistien 5100 I am looking for a good (stock like ride) but also they need to be able to be pretty decent offroad rock crawling any suggestions?

Both are great. I ran the 5100's before my current Fox 2.0 RR. I found the 5100's to be a nicer ride on road over the Fox, but off road the Fox shocks really shine!

Not so much too stiff, but stiffer on road in comparison to the Bilstein's. I'd go Bilstein's if you're looking for primarily on road comfort but still very capable off road. Trails, rocks, washboard dirt roads, the Fox shocks smooth out the roughest/ hardest terrain off road imo. Crawling both are awesome.

Ya I'm looking for more on road comfort and still have a pretty good crawler.

You really can't go wrong with the Bilstein's. Very few people have any issues with them, majority rant and rave about how awesome they are. Great all around performer.

For what it's worth, I have a set of 5100's on my Ram 1500 - great shocks. Smooths out washboards without feeling like you're on a rolling sofa (Grandpa's Cadillac) and there's very little body roll on turns.

I haven't heard a negative review about them that has to mean something they are definitely going to be my next shock

Default 5100s

5100s are great. I run 5160s (for a long time) and they have taken a HUGE amount of abuse. I broke multiple shocks before these... Really like the reservoir. I think it pays if you drive hard off road. Can get pretty hot...
