Default Gearing ?

I am planning on running 37s on my 2 Door 2014 Rubi, it has a manual trans and 4.10s right now. This is my daily but i also go wheeling as much as i can. What gears do you all think i should run? Current SPECS - 2 Door, 3.6, manual, currently 4.10s, stock 44s. Just trying to get some input.

Thanks

If you like the way it drives now on stock tires, go with 4.88's. Will be the closest ratio to stock with the 37's.

A quick search and came up with this. Post 6 has a gear chart and will give you the best idea.

Looks like a toss up between 4.88s and 5.13s. But if i ever want to drop back down to 35s, the 5.13 may be shitty for a DD.

I am running 5.13's on 2011 JKU with the 3.8l and get about 15 on the highway and 13 around town. I commute 40 miles one way and seems to be ok but gas prices here are $1.89 too. What do you mean ever drop back to 35's. Once you go big you will only go bigger.

4.88 seems to be a happier place for most going with 37's on the manual transmission. 5.13 is what the automatic guys normally go to.

You have a point, probably wouldn't go smaller. What size tires are you running?
