Default Gears

I've searched but have not really found a clear answer. I'm looking at getting 4.10 gears for an 08X 6sp, D30/44 and the rear has a locker from the factory. I want to make sure the rear gear will fit. I've read posts saying they won't, and have heard others say that they will. Does anyone have a clear answer?

E: I suppose I should clarify a little. Will X D44 gears work in a Rubi D44 rear axle? The gears are from an X/Sahara.

Most people will tell you not to waste your time getting 4.10's. If you have any plans on going with bigger meats in the future just skip to 4.88's or 5.13's.

Yeah, I've heard that but I don't think I'll go beyond a 35 with my D30. It's my dd and the 3.73's aren't bad but I 4.10 would be just right. I have 34" tires now. If I went with 4.88 I would at almost 3000rpm on the highway.

e: If I had an auto I would go to 5.13.
