Need a favor from someone who has this carrier. What is the distance between the mounting surface, to the tail gate? Im trying to see if my 40x1550 will fit or if its to wide...??

No need. Got confirmation my tires are to wide....
If only companies that claim there carriers hold up to a 40in tire would really say 40x1350s only.... not all but as im learning ALOT of them
