Remember price is only part of the equation and the after service support you get from Dave at Northridge should be considered. That said, his prices are good and no tax and no shipping really make buying from NR4X4 an easy choice. Being a former Purchasing Manager I do know what you are looking to do so do the homework but I think you'll come back to your original quote.

If you want it in a timely manner talk to Dave. I ordered right from Dynatrac. Took right at 8 weeks.
Not really a big deal, was worth the wait.

Ya know it might have been a little nicer to just ask for price recomendations not drag individual venders into your deliberations here on the forum. Kinda cheesy making them defend their prices, shop around then make a decision and stick with it (or get stuck with it) Just an old geezers opinion

I just bought one recently from David at Northridge and I really don't think you will be able to beat their price or customer service anywhere else. Just my two cents.

If you got a quote from Northridge, why the heck are you still shopping?
Awesome analogy.

In no way am I trying to thread jack ya. I just don't want to start another thread asking basically the same thing.

I to am looking at an upgrade for the front axle on my JK. There is no way I can afford the Dynatrac Prorock 44 unlimited, wondering if you or anyone has any other suggestion. What I have going now is Re-Gear to 4.88 front and rear, ARB Air locker up front, TNT Truss system for front axle, Eaton Tru-Track in the rear I am dead set on rear LSD. I was quoted $4500 for all parts and labor. The shop advised I look into a G2 Dana 44 that the cost would be close to the same as what I plan on doing in upgrades to the stock D30 it comes with locker and better axles, but still a stock housing from what I understand. I have yet to find this set up anywhere.

Looking for a built front axle ready to bolt in, no way I can justify 4k for only a front axle and still do other work. My budget is around 6500 for everything (does not meant I want to spend the full amount) I would also like to pick up a snorkel and skids. Anyone have any suggestion or am I just wishfully thinking.

Be carefull shopping for the lowest price unless you are doing the locker install locally. You should take into account how many assemblies they build and their track record. I went with Northridge because of their fast turnaround and their great track record and customer service. I too shopped around and with their free shipping went with them.

From what I understand , the g2 core 44 for the front jk is not out yet. I hear it will be out by the end of summer. The peeps at g2 say it is going to be twice as strong as the stock rubi 44. No idea what it is going to cost as of yet. I'm getting the prorock because it is proven and American made!
