Default Grill inserts

This is my first post. I am about to replace my front grill with the wild boar grill. I'm painting it gloss black but my jk is dark orange. I was looking to make my own grill inserts and put them behind the grill. It would be just one sheet attached to the back. I was going to paint it the same orange as the rest of my car. Is there anyone that has made the own grill inserts or something like that. I saw a picture online from sema of a custom insert that was honeycomb. Does anyone have a mod like this?

I kept it simple by using gutter leaf guards from Home Depot cut in long pieces and stuck on using zip ties and these Click image for larger version

Pretty sure that the slats in the wild boar grill are smaller than OEM (people were concerned with cooling) so something off the shelf won't work. You will have to fab something like fultonromero12 did.

And welcome!

Thanks! Wild boar claims that engine gets better airflow. That really doesn't seem possible lol
I just like the way it works
