Was wanting to get some thoughts on if it is recommened to have Gussets installed if you are running 35's? Thanks!

 

Are you referring to C-gussets?

If you look at the upper axle "C" by the upper balljoint you can plainly see why. Very tall, thin, and weak. If you put 35" tires it puts more mass and leverage on a weak point. The bottom one not so much but as long as you are there.....

 

Anyone who has C-Gussets installed get any grief from dealer when having warranty work done?

 

Sorry, Yes C-gussets. Do most off-road shops do this or do you have to buy them and take it to a welder? How long do you think it takes to start seeing damage without them? Only have had my Jeep about a week with no off-road driving as of yet.
