I vote for 35's you shouldn't have any problem with tba 3.6L engine. Personally I don't care for body lifts, and you really don't need them with the JK's.

On tires I really want to keep the stock wheels and not regear for about 6-12 months currently have 3.21

So tires either falken rocky mountain 285-65-18 or duratrac 275-65-18 I think these are the largest I can get away with.

So what's your thoughts and which tire would look best under that life and work the best for daily driving and light wheeling to moderate
On my 2007 JKU i did 2.5bb lift with an added 3/4 spacer up front with 35s on 4:10 gears. as a daily driver with moderate off-roading on the beach mostly...looked good with zero rubbing....i chose the BB over a coil lift to keep the factory ride as most coil lifts stiffen the ride to some degree.....down side, power and gas mileage went to crap...i didnt realize how bad till i got the new jeep...now you have the new engine and i didnt in 2007 so im sure it will help...but your running 3.21 gears vs the 4.10 i had....i think the engine vs the gears are a wash...my new 2 door feels like a Porshe compared to my 2007 you can run both tires on the stock wheels in most cases altho some tire dealers wont put a 285 on a 7.5 wheel as we have stock for "safety" reasons...see link below and see rim width 8-10 for the same tire size Druatracs...look under specs tab

the 275 65 18 rim size is within the safety range as seen here:

it does not mean you cant find someone to install them...more than likely they will if they are getting a tire sale eh? this is my old 2007 with a 2.5 lift on stock tires and 18 rims:

and here it is with 35 12.50 tires

I agree with Bamo....

I'll be getting 35's soon.

This is mine with 315/70R17 Dura-Tracs....

Plenty of room w/o a body lift. Now that I have flat fenders, maybe I should look at 37's
