Guys with X models and 35's I wanna hear from you!

I got an x on order. I have the trac loc in the rear, thinking about changing to locker, How do you guys handle the 35's and wheeling? I hear the BLD helps alot, I just wanna make sure I'll have fun and no issues with 3" lift and 35's on moderate off road stuff! How do the axels hold up? everyone says there so weak??

Sahara, 37's (BLD) no Locker's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'll never climb this cliff, but it will.:D and there's numerous threads/picture's of X's & Sahara's that are doing what was impossible before. They're all fantastic machines.

It's no Rubicon, but it is definately more capable than any other factory Jeep EVER. I agree that the axles will need to be upgraded eventually (my 44 front is on order) if you're going to do hard core stuff, but for moderate trails, the X fills the job just fine. Have fun.

Its awesome offroad, then again. I've always wheeled unlocked with a heavy foot in my TJ.

I'm not worried at all about the HP D30. Plenty of guys run 35-36's in a TJ with no problems at all. I dont plan on hardcore wheeling the JK until its paid off and a couple years old. So the Rubicon was'nt worth it for me right now.

X with 35" right here. No issues at all. I have the Auto so the 4.10 gears and it goes just fine and climbs rocks/mudd hills without a problem

they did away with 4.10's on the x and sahara. 3.73's replaced them. I think its the D35 in the rear now no d44.

Wow, I'm glad I got an 07 JK X  I'm planning on putting 35s on my JK in a few years...paid $800 for the BFG 235/85R16s AT KOs I got before I figured out that I wanted a 2.5" BB.

I would have gotten 33's (pre-lfit) but the stealership guy freaked out on my when I mentioned that. He ranted and raved about all the problems I would have if I went bigger than 32". ...this was all before I found the Project-JK forum.

From everything I've read...read alot now...35s shouldn't be a problem on the X for moderate wheeling.
