Default Hard Rock Bumper Install

Ok, I've got a question for those who have installed the hard rock bumper to replace the stock. How were you able to hook up the fog lights? I installed mine yesterday and realized that the current wires (12 JKU) were too short to reach the fog lights. Is the purchasing of new wire harnesses required or is there another way around this? Thanks!

No new harness needed. Open up the loom and cut back some of the tape to extend the wiring to where you need it to go. Rewrap and done. It is a little tight but it works.

It was the same for my AEV bumper install. So you should be able to download the AEV instructions or watch their YouTube vid for more details.

Agree with the above, just cut and splice into the existing wires...extending as need be. I like to solder and shrink wrap the joints rather than use the inexpensive crush connectors, especially if you off road at all.

I found the AEV video and instructions. I was able to create enough length by removing the loom, exposing the wires and extending them to reach the fog lights. Appreciate the help!
