Default Help with greasing Tom Woods driveshafts

I had my TW 1310's just recently installed - about 2k miles - and I've greased then up good but I've noticed it's starting to squeak. It's definitely rotational and increases in intensity at speed.

Now I've searched and read all the posts I can find about greasing these shafts, especially about a needle fitting to squirt grease somewhere in the double cardan area. But I'm stumped. From what I can see there are a total of 3 u-joints and one slip joint for a total of Four greasable joints.

My double cardan looks like (t-case side)...

Now this looks like there are two zerk fittings, one for each u-joint.

The other end by the diff looks like...

This looks like one zerk for the u-joint and one for the slip joint.

I've greased all four until grease purges from each seal so I know I did it right.

Is this a newer TW design with all zerks? Am I still missing a joint I have to grease? Mechanically, these look like the only joints on the entire shaft. What am I missing?

Please help if you're familiar with this. Thanks a bunch!

Look in the double carden area for a button type joint, it needs a needle fitting to grease the centering ball.

This may help

FYI, you may need to pull the shaft if you can't find the needle fitting while its on.

There should be a place to grease the center ball, only you most likely will not see it unless you drop the shaft.

Thanks for the tip! Wow what a pain in the a$$. I tried to finesse it by just pulling off the double cardan end but it's really hard to get at that nozzle. Plus putting it back onto the double cardan end without having the other end out is tough. Guess I'll have to yank both shafts off. Nothing's easy lol.

It's easier if you just pull the whole shaft out. I've tried half-ass doing it and it just takes longer and is aggravating.

Pulled the rear one off and gave it a nice grease job. The front one was double pain. How the heck do I get to the back two bolts on the t-case side? After trying forever, I just gave up, dropped just the diff side and finessing the injector into the nozzle. Is there an easier way?? I only use a creeper, no hoist or jack stands so it's a little challenging.

Here's what I do.

I jack up the driverside front wheel. I take off my tranny skid.
I use a small rachet or end wrench to take the 4 bolts outta the yoke at the tcase, use my foot to rotate the tire to spin the driveshaft to get to the bolts.
I let the ds rest where its at and then remove the u-bolts at the diff. Remove shaft.

Mkjeep you're my hero. Thanks for all the info. I'll do that the next time round

By the way, greasing the center ball got rid of the squeak.
