Default Help me out with noises?

Hello. I have been running Superchips for a while now. I got a new Magnapack muffler a month ago. Love it!

however, I hear like this sputtering or weird sound when cruising. I can't tell if it is ping or not? Maybe my hearing aid is acting up? Maybe it is just the Magnaflow?

2008 JK, 3.8, AEM brute force CAI, Magnaflow Magnapack (similar to a glasspack in size), Superchips Tow on 93 octane (from Valero). 42 degrees and raining outside at about 700 ft.
The sound quality seems quiet but turn it up? I already clamped my heat shields so it cant be that. My doors are taped as well.
The only part of the video that seems out of whack is when I drop it down and the revs go up. Sound drops there for a second. My biggest concern is that puttering I hear - not sure if it attributed to the extreme free flowing characteristics of my muffler.
This sound happens only when cruising along at any speed above 40 and the rpms are between 1,500 and 2,200.

Pinging normally happens when the engine is under load. Like accelerating or going up a hill, especially when the motor is lugging at a lower rpm. Have you tried loading a different tune on the Superchips? Were you running this tune before installing the muffler?

I ran the 87 on 89 at first. Switched to tow for the increased torque a few weeks ago. Noticed this sound and retuned yesterday. Already 100 miles on it.

Tried 91 and 93 for a few miles last week for kicks. Tow tune may not be the fastest but is my favorite one.

I did have this sound with my cherry bomb extreme. Got the magnaflow and it was nice and smooth until last week. Maybe it just broke in?

That definitely doesn't sound like pinging. I couldn't pull the link on my phone, but will listen to it later. Did you make sure the exhaust isn't hitting anything which could make it resonate?

Already checked that. Exhaust is welded an heat shields clamped. I appreciate the help. I just can't hear it "well enough".

Have you tried putting it in neutral and having someone run the engine up through different rpm ranges to see if you can duplicate the sound?

Once again thank you! I can hear the low frequency sputtering but can't hear high pitch sounds.
So it's prolly my exhaust puttering?

Here's another video of me cruising at 45-50 in 5th gear.

The fan was turned off as well. No rain or any other noises, except for one moment when a loud truck passed by me.
