you can easily fix caster at home. all you need is adjustable control arms and an angle finder

Update: I heard a rumor from one of the great local dealers in town that they have seen the same lift with DW and they had to move the front lower arms out all the way to 24 5/8" before. At that length, the Jeep needed a front drive shaft also. So I have been slowly trying to lengthen the front lower control arms. Currently the front lower control arms sit at 23 5/8".

At this length, the Jeep seems much more stable and the wheels do not look like the video (a bad shopping cart). The Jeep still has DW but while the test drive it did not happen all the time or while driving around the city. But once on the highway the DW happens suddenly and now there is not gentleness about it. It just is BAMM, we are in DW.

The weather is going to be very nice tonight, so we plan on kicking out the arms more until we get it right or it gets dark.

Good luck

Ok, just a quick update. I have put the 35s on the Jeep with the 1.5" spacers and the Jeep drives great on the highway with 50psi in the tires.

I have also messed with the toe (in and out) and things seem a lot better now. At least I can drive it and go on a run this weekend. I will keep everyone posted and will post pics after the trail run.

Thanks for the help.

I drove the Jeep all weekend and no problem what so ever. I took it out to the trails and damaged a front swaybar link and bent the toe bar. Time to upgrade.

The moral of the story is that the bigger tires do increase the scrub radius of the wheels thus making it harder for the tires to skate back and forth.
