Hey I am wondering if anyone knows..

Last night when I disconnected the axle end of the trackbar to inspect the bolts and holes, I could not get it back in and lined up. I had to turn the steering wheel to get it to line the holes back up. I did not cause my axle to be off center or screw anything up by doing that, did I?

Hell,

I just installed about a 3.5" lift and also have JKS front and rear.

I am having the EXACT same problem you are. I drive fine up to 50mph, and then from there on any bump I hit I brace thinking it will start to wobble.

Not sure what to do...

Anyone have any thoughts on if it's ok how I reattached the track bar by turning the wheel?

UPDATE: I put on a new steering stabilizer, a new one off of a Cherokee, it fit and was a lot beefier. Then took the Jeep for a drive. It went a half mile longer and the wobbling still occurred. If no one has any suggestions I guess it is time for me to buy a new drag-link and tie rods, even thou those are not bad. By the way the ball joints are not bad. Maybe it is time for the 35s to go on and see how they handle.

What do you think?

In the past I took a look at the holes but have not in a few days. Maybe now I have enough miles on the Jeep with this configuration that they have wallowed. I only have less than hundred miles on this lift.

Damn , hellbound, your gonna have the most modified JK on this forum that is basically still stock height. No probs about doing that with your trk bar. in fact, with a stocker or an adj., that's the easiest way to get the hole lined up. Just so long as you torque it with the wheels on the ground. Love your rig BTW. You've done a helluva lot without lifting, other than the spacers. Kudo's to you, hope you can get your probs worked out. Although, you seem to be as paranoid about things that bother me as well. Guess all jeep freaks are that way.

Haha I hear ya MK. Sadly this time it's pretty real. My jeep is shakin like michael j fox. I hope I can fix this because it's so bad I can't keep the jeep if not. Man I see these lifted jeeps offroad and it seems like my stock one is falling apart from just street driving.

Hve you screwed around with your toe any? I basically had to go by feel,( several adjustments ) to keep it from shaking on the bumps. I ended up with 1/16" toe out for mine to drive right. I don't think that 1/8in toe in is applicable to everyone. Mine looked like it was toed out from the factory. I tried to adjust toe in, didn't work. Maybe something to play with before you give up on your jk. Sometimes it can be the simplest things that make us go crazy. I don't care for so-called proffesional alighnments by a shop for a jeep, if you've had that done already.
