Help ripp supercharger
I'm confused. I don't get why some ripp kits have a hose that goes from the blow out valve back to the supercharger to recirculate the air blown out back to the supercharger unit. And I see some ripp kits that don't have a hose going from the blowout valve to the super charger unit. Why is this? I'm confused. These are both 3.8l ripp kits. The first photo is my jeep with the hose from the blowout valve to the supercharger unit and the second picture is without the hose I'm confused.
Just in case someone else run into this problem.... I found the answer... The reason why I had that extra hose is because my supercharger kit had a silencer installed. The air is recirculated hence removing 90% of the woosh sound or whistle whatever from the supercharger. I guess all be removing that stupid hose and covering the hole that was drilled to recover the silencer hose thing. Now if I get tired of the whine all know how to cut it down.
