To the OP you should invest in a set of metric ratcheting wrenches. These things are heaven sent I use mine all the time and this particular use (shocks) was worth every penny I paid for the set. $39 at Northern Tool and you get 8mm through 18mm. Also great for getting sway bars on and off quickly if you don't have quick discos, it takes me less than 5 minutes per side to take both off and velcro them up and out of the way. Good luck!

Just finished my lift with Bilsteins on my 2012. I was completely not prepared for this. In the 2012s, (my guess is because of the Pentastar), they changed out the box that holds the battery, air intake, and fusebox to one solid piece of plastic that stretches from the back of the engine compartment to the front. I ended up removing the battery, fuse box, air intake, and then moving that plastic compartment enough to get the allan key and wrench on it. Complete pain in the arse.

I also ran into this problem when installing my teraflex lift. I just cut out a little bit of the plastic...problem solved.
