Did I blow my steering stabalizer?

Unless that fluid is from the road... I would say yes. :-)

IZZNICE 05-19-2012 03:45 PM

It certainly looks that way.

Nice feeling isnt it... Really. When i do 'minor' stuff like that i kimda get the feeling like breaking your bat hitting a home run :-)

Just hope you did it while wheeling and having fun... Elae thats like breaking the bat during batting practice :-(

Ya, that would be a good guess.

Hey shoot me a PM when you have a moment. I just replaced my stabilizer and can send you my stock one.

Thanks for the quick response. Thanks Buribngus for the offer but I'm going to go with a Bilstein I think. No sense in prolonging the inevitable, right?

Forewarning... The bilstein is good (i have it) BUT, its gas charged and will result in a push to the left (drivers side) because it is a bit over charged with pressure. This is known issue with bilsteins. If you are running 35's (or larger) the push wont be as much due to the weight of the tire.

The fox 2 is preferred over the bilstein - its a little more rugged and i believe the pressure is adjustable.

I am running 35's but will definitely check out the fox. Thanks for the heads up.

If you want a relocation bracket let me know. I'll send you the bracket I took off. Good luck with the new stabilizer!
