Default Help with Teraflex 2.5 BB installation

Hey Everyone-

So I successfully installed my Teraflex 2.5" BB kit with shocks today, however I have a question...

The Project JK writeup for the install was great, but it didnt say anything about the track bar bracket that was included with the kit. The kit's own install instructions (as crappy as they are) talked about drilling and installing the bracket, but the Project JK instructions mentioned nothing about it.

Point is... I didnt install the bracket. I was easily able to reattach my track bar with the help of the ratchet strap. I could always go back under and install the bracket, but I figured since the bracket wasnt in the pictures of the kit on the project JK writeup, that it wasnt needed.

Am I wrong?

You are correct you don ot need it but it will make your track bar more level and help pull the axle towards the center. Bottom line is you do not need it.

It wasn't on the Project JK write-up because that 'pre-dated' TF's updating the kit. I too did not use the bracket because the Jeep seems perfect. However, it was included because not everyone was that lucky. Drive it without. See how it handles. You can always add it after the fact very easily.

Sweet! Thanks. If I feel inclined when I am doing the re-torquing next weekend, I may install it then. It seems to drive great. I didnt even have to make any adjustments to the steering.

I can't wait for my tires to wear.

Hasta en el camino!
