So far I have not seen many useless ideas or advice on here. I'm grateful for them all.

I'm pretty sure that with 35 inch tires and a 3 inch lift, I'll be plenty happy with what I have. Going any more than that is just not my thing, but thanks.

yeah, I'm already convinced on that one. The other mods are ones I hadn't thought of, but the evap move was one that was an easy decision...lol.

Thanks,

Mac

I had already planned on the evap relocation, but forgot to list it in "The Plan", lol. The snorkel was a "wish list" item, the axels I wasn't sure about yet, so not in the plan, had not seen the AEV hood, just the snorkel, I'll have to look that up.

So what's up with relocating the muffler and SS? Have there been problems? The control arms were planned when I do the lift, whatever that winds up being..lol.

Thanks,

Mac
Check this site out to answer you question about hypertech chips: http://www.hypertech.com/

Once you have relocated your evap you can then move your muffler to a safer place. The SS relo is to protect it from hitting it against rocks by raising it up.
Make sure you do the adj control arms ASAP if you want a better ride overall.

The AEV hood is made to work with the AEV snorkel. Not cutting needed.

Good luck

Do you think a compromise between the two might be the 4.10's? I'm not really all that worried about the center of gravity being too high with anything less than a 4" lift or more, I've driven a buddies setup that was lifted about 4" with a lift, and an additional 1" body lift, and it seemed really stable, but was higher than I wanted. I will probably just go with the 3" and leave it at that.

Thanks,

Mac
Your MPG you drop considerably if you don't upgrade your gears. Now, you could go with the 4.88, but you have a automatic I'd go 5.13.
The best thing to do is drive your JK with 4.10 after the lift and see for your self. Then decide. BTW 4.88 is better on gas than the 5.13, but 5.13 will give you a little extra ufff.

Skip the body lift..... Just do a bigger suspension lift and save yourself the headache of a body lift.

x2. I've never been a fan of the body lift.

Yeah, right after I wrote the question I decided to just google it and came up with the hypertech site. That looks like the solution to a myriad of problems. I like it!!

That's the kind of info I'm looking for!! It is looking like the 4.88's are the compromise position, but the 5.13's are still an option....lol.
