I'm curious as to why that is? I've never had any experience with body lifts as you couldn't do that with the Cherokees.

However... If the goal (like me) is to just increase the space to better clear the bigger tires, than that is a moot point. I've already done 2.5" on the suspension, and gained another 1.5" of clearance by putting on 35's. SO I was already at the height I wanted to be at for clearing obstacles. I was not looking for extra ground clearance, just more clearance for the tires, without having to put forth extra effort and money into more suspension and drivetrain mods.
Understood. With a suspension lift like I want, I will not need a body lift anyway, so therefore would be a waste of time and money for what I am trying to accomplish.

Done deal.

Thanks,

So now I'm looking at what lift to get. It's an automatic 4dr, with no mods so far. I'm looking at a 3" lift, and probably going to go with the 1350 front drive shaft at the same time.

What brands and types do you have and what do you like or dislike about it? Mine is a DD as well, so I'd like to try and keep SOME of the driving characteristics it currently has, if possible, because I really like how it rides at this point...lol.

Default lift

IMO do the 3in lift with the 35s and 4.88 gears with a 1 in BL to help with added tire clearence when you stuff those 35s. I just did Rausch Creek for the first time with my set up (see below for specs) and had very little problems hanging with two rubicons with both their lockers engaged doing blue and black trails. I still have the stock 3.73 gears with an auto.

Ah, to hit the lottery, yes?
