Default Hi lift jack mount warrior brand?

Just got this mount in for the hood and it came with hinge reinforcers said it is optional to use I don't think it is necessary what do u think it said it is optional.

I've never used/seen the part in question but other than a few extra minutes on the install, what would it hurt to put it on? It seems the benefits outweighs the costs, IMO.

It said it needs welded on but read farther in the directions and said does not need to be used unless u r extreme off roader. I don't leave the streets most of the time except deer season and silver lake.

I also just installed them. The instructions said something about the hinges bending in 1 out of a 1000 times so odds are you'll be fine without the extra plates.

Gotcha, didn't know it had to be welded vs a simple bolt on.
