Highest tire size

Hello all relatively new to Jeeping, but not to cars in general but was wondering what the safest and largest tire size I can throw on my jeep without putting strain on my gears? I'm trying to keep it at stock height but give it it that wide look from the tires. Thanks all

depends on your gears and transmission. There are three different gear ratios offered and two different transmissions.

There is also a fact thread posted to the top of the modified section you may want to look thru.

Depends on what gears and engine you have. Fill out your profile.

Apologies. Running a 2014 sport unlimited with a 3.6

So you have either 3.21 or 3.73 gears? With a 3.6 and 3.73's, people on here say they are ok with 35" tires. With 3.21's, they are more likely to want to regear for 35's. But, since you are not lifting, and I assume you are not trimming the fenders, a 33x10.50 or so is probably the biggest you want to go. Which should be fine with either ratio.

Or, to get a wider stance, look in to rims with a lower backspace/higher offset, or look in to some 1.5" wheel spacers.
