Default HighRock Rocker Trim

http://www.quadratec.com/products/12536_500_07.htm

Has anyone purchased and installed these yet? I'd like to know how well built and effective they are. I also like the door handle guards that come with it.

I've never seen those before, but it said they are made of PLASTIC. For $50 more you could get a set of Rubi rockers. They give you the finished look, but are fairly durable. JMO

I have the Mopar steps, they don't work with the Rubi rockers because they use the same mounting points. I'm looking for something to clean up the body seem.

I see where you're coming from now. It very hard to tell from the pic.

Thanks Toad, I saw that thread and it's a good mod. What I didn't like is that he just used adhesive. The HighRocks use adhesive and bolt on.

I'm a "she"!

It would be very easy to drill a few holes in the aluminum that line up with the holes that are on the seam. There are already a few flange bolts in there, just a buy a few more (from the HighRock installation instructions I believe that M6 x 20 are the correct ones) and you can easily bolt the aluminum strip on. I'll probably do that myself in the future.

My bad and good idea. I like how high the HighRocks come up as well.

Hello everyone! I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to resurrect it since I just bought the rocker trim from Morris on "clearance". I didn't pay enough attention to the installation details and missed that it uses both bolts and adhesive strips to hold it in place.

My question for you guys is: will the adhesive strips damage the paint on my JK? Also, how sturdy is the adhesive Bestop uses? Before installing this item, I want to make sure they won't come loose in the future; taking my beautiful paint with it.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your help!
