Default How did i do?

This is my first post and i am a newbie so i hope this is in the right place and not inappropriate. Just ordered 5 mickey thompson mtz radials 35/ 12.50 17r, and 5 mickey thompson classic lock wheels Also got the black beadlock rings and lug nuts. Mounting and balancing were free and free shipping as long as i drive 45 minutes to pick up at the warehouse. total with tax....$2650, and i still can use the rebate for m/t , $100 when you buy 4 tires 35 and up, plus the $40 rebate when u buy 4 m/t wheels. I have been researching for about a month now and for the brand and price, it seemed that i could not pass this deal up. now i did opt for the (!) to run all the time because they wanted $80 per tire extra and then i would have had to go to the dealer to have them activated which would be another $100 i suppose.(not sure i understand the whole tpms, even after reading every post in here on them.) i like the post where the tpms picks up the signal from the old tires in the garage. i think i am going to go that route for now. I am going to read on how to post some pictures so i can update accordingly. glad to be a member.

You bet Skullman. Make sure to join the sunshine state user group on here...they just did a trailing trip over Memorial Day weekend. Word is there'll be another one either over the summer or just after that.

Welcome aboard, Skullman!
Man, I envy those tires! I'm sure you'll love the set up once you get used to it! All I need is a better paying job

thanks, i figured i was gonna need to do something because the speedo would be off.

i really was looking to see if i got a good deal on the wheels and tires also. i did not want to spend quite so much( my wife didnt want me to spend over $1000..haha) but like i said after researching pricing and not finding mickey thompson mtz 35s alone for under 1500 for the 5 that $2500 out the door with the rebates looked pretty good. i did read that people say the mickey thompson wheels are high maintanence and will pit if i dont clean at least one time every 2 week...anyone have any problems with that?? thanks again for all the welcomes and help. only bad part about the new jk is that the 94 wrangler never gets driven
