how to disable headlights from turning on when using the keyless?
it seems like everytime i unlock the doors with the button on the keyfob, my lights turn on,
is there any way to permanently disable that???

That's pretty normal with new cars now, somthing like a safety aspect. You know how you'll be driving and some cars coming the other way have their lights on.......in the day time. That's because make them that way just for safety. Im not sure though how to dissable it.

Page 22 in your manual...
Press unlock button on keyless remote for 4-10 seconds
While unlock button is pressed, after 4 seconds press the lock button
Release both buttons
Hope it works...I had to do it twice...

That does not defeat the headlights. This sequence defeats the parking lamps from flashing (once for locked, twice for unlocked) while the headlights continue to illuminate. Insofar as not using the remote entry, that is not a bad idea save for the fact that the headlights still come on when the ignition is turned from on to off.

Sure enough...you are right...I did it in the daylight earlier today and thought the lights stayed off...I was wrong...sorry...
