LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm building my own right now and weight has been on my mind....log on and see this thread....
Anyway: if the metal-supplier gotts it right- the chunk I bought for the bumper (just bumper-- no carrier) weighs in at 95 pounds before I did a dang thing to it. Now its got brackets to mount it, soon to have the tire carrier and recovery points. Its 3"x6" thick walled rectangular.......
pics soon.

Is there a cool story why you go bumperless? What do you use for recovery?

Well that's a little better than what I was looking at. I have the RR XHD stubby with the hoop attachment and M8000 so thermite my front at roughly 163#'s! The RR rear ways 106, add on the tire carrier, tire and various other items and it's probably close to 200! Maybe I'll continue to save and upgrade the BB spacers to actual coils before deciding...

I just don't care for the looks of it with my flat flares. And since I've added the OR fab carrier on, it makes the stance of the jeep look a lot tougher. I still have the factory tow hook attached to the frame.

I have the Or-Fab sheetmetal Bumper-With Led Backup Lamps. Does not weight that much at all, when compared to my Heavy front Bumper.

Just a random update from my last. that 95 lb hunk of steel for my rear bunper- I took a HUGE chunk out of it to lighten it- then added a swingarm/tire carrier..... no weight yet but I'm betting I'm closing in on 150
