Default How much would you charge for a lift install

So, friends wife has a 2-door JK and he bought for her a Rough Country 2.5" BB with the 2.2 and he asked me to install it for him. He knows nothing about working on jeeps and knows that i have been doing all the work on my own rig.

he asked how much i wanted to do the job... i said $200. is this reasonable? ill be doing the install in my grandmothers garage with hand tools and floor jacks.

whats the consensus?

Default If He's a friend...

A case of your favorite Beer and either himself or his wife to fetch you tools while you're laying under their jeep.

x2 on fetching the tools, thats half of the battle. A case of beer sounds good to. It should take you 2-3 hrs.

Exactly. This is how it should be...even with these economic times.

That's about what I paid for mine. I used to do them, but they are a lot different than the old mud bog days. My friend had already done some of the JKs. He's a good friend.
