Hutchinson Rock Monster reviews
I'm thinking of getting these rims, right now I have stock tires and I'm interested in knowing how they feel and handle on the road. Will I even notice a difference? I'm assuming these rims are heavier as well.
I did read they don't hold air as well but looks like if they are put on correctly that won't happen. Would be interested in hearing from you guys how have these rims. These seem like great rims for off road but is this overkill since I'm on-road most often. With 35's on now the ride it rougher and I don't want to make it worse for on-road uses.

They are a heavy wheel and only come in one back space for the JK it is 4.63" I am on my second set of rock monsters first were the JK 5x5 and now have Dodge 8 lug on my tons. They hold air fine but not sure why you would want to run them as a daily driver. They are a pain in the ass to dismount the tires.

I'm not sure why a different wheel would make a difference in ride though?
I'll second Dirtmans comment about removing tires. I run beadlocks on road, but I drive my Jeep about 20 miles a week. I'll log nearly as many off-road miles as on road.
Other things to consider are finding places to balance them if you don't run beads and I've only found one alignment shop that can perform an alignment.
All that said, running 5-8 psi off-road is nice.
I can agree on psi. 35psi on my 33's, 30-32psi on my 35's and now 28-30psi on my 37's. Im also running 16' rims. Any lower than 28psi they jeep seems wavy and loose.
Just need to ask yourself if beadlocks are what you need. I wheel with reg wheels with no issues. But on the other hand, last week a guy blew a bead with stock rim/tire's. Bad line but shit happens.
