Default Hypertech Max Energy programmer vs. Superchip

I have a 07 jk 2dr manual. Have any Jeepers out there used the Hypertech Max energy programmer? I really like that this programmer gives you the ability to change the temp of when your cooling fan kicks on. Looking for some feedback on the performance and abilities of this chip. I'm also looking into a Superchip, but they seem more aimed at automatic trans. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!!

I have the Superchips Vivid and all I can say is that it is awesome. And yes you can change the temp at which the cooling fan kicks on with it and many, many other things as well. Highly recommended

My issue with superchips is based on what others have posted here about them pinging.

I haven't heard of anyone with hypertech having issues. Used to be the SC had more features, but not any more.

Hypertech has more features now, not to mention VERY good customer service.

I went with the HYpertech because of the throttle sensitivity feature. It's like getting a Sprint booster along with a programmer without the painstaking install

What throttle settings did you choose? 6 speed or auto?

The convenience factor of not stopping at the trail head to program my crawl tune is awesome. When you shift to 4L all crawl tunes /off road settings turn on automatically.

It's in the mail. I'll hopefully get it this week. My gears get put in next Tuesday.

Honestly haven't tried it yet. I will definitely have it kick on at a lower temperature when the warmer weather gets here

cool- thank you. Is the programmer pretty easy to use/user friendly? I'd be using it mainly for speedo correction, fan/temp setting. Does any of the gearing or crawl modes apply to manual trans as well? thanks
