Hypertech or Superchips
I have to agree this thread just keeps getting funnier. I mentioned this earlier, but it seems to have gotten lost in the heresy
.
This is the biggest part that I have yet to hear anyone explain, and it really kind of pisses me off.
Superchips=$295 vs Hypertech=$379
How does Hypertech justify the price difference, and they do not deliver as many features. I am probably going to send my Hypertech back, $84 difference is BS and my Hypertech wont fix my TPMS issue. One could argue the performance is better with one or the other till you were blue in the face, but you can't argue almost a 30% price increase of one over the other with less features. Since I have yet to use either product ever in my life, I can honestly say I am unbiased consumer at this point trying to figure it all out.

I agree with you. Also those two need to let it go. I too have not used either product, however I am leaning towards the Superchips based on the information I have researched. I would also like to see your question answered. 30% is a huge up charge for less features
I haven't been able to get the TPMS delete feature loaded and their customer service to date has been very good. They work on it and call me to try something else and then back to the drawing board, but every time I call they answer the phone and work with me so no complaints there. Now if I could just get it to load that feature...

There's been an update to the firmware. Use your Superchips Easy Update software on your computer to update your tuner, then install the TPMS Disable feature. When done, the hokey software will still tell you that the package is not installed, however if you then plug your tuner into your Jeep, you'll find TPMS Offroad feature there, under Advanced, then Tire Pressure. Give it a try.
It will only work on one Jeep at a time. It loads your specific vehicle in memory and will only work on the Jeep until you remove the tune from the Jeep and reset the Flashpaq. You cannot reset the Flashpaq until the Jeep itself has been set back to stock.
I don't think anyone needs to do a ton of additional research as there are volumes of user experiences on both products available on this forum. Plenty of people who have used both products, and I think their views speak louder than those who just pin a moniker on their chest.
No secret where I stand on the subject, and when someone wants to throw some empirical data on the topic contrary to my findings instead of just fluff, I'm all ears.
