Talking ...I modified my LoD rear bumper

Ok this is kinda a sneak peak since im letting the paint dry over night before doing the install tomorrow.

There were a few things I wanted to change about the bumper.

First being the tire carrier, I modified it to mount a Hi-lift in the vertical position like seen on the TJ ARB bumpers.

Also I didn't like the shackle mounts so I grinded them off. I added some plate steel behind the door to give it a more even look. Last I sand blasted all the rough powder coating off and re-painted with a smooth satin black industrial paint.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, ill be installing it in the morning and will be sure to post some worthy pics. For comparison here is a pic of what it looked like when I got it.

Im really excited about how this is turning out which is why I posted the teaser thread. :toung:

didn't even think about that, good call ill do that in the morning as well.

Really nice work! It's got a very clean look.

Are you just going to use a hitch plug with a shackle on it when you need to get yanked, or what?
