I know I don't have a great posting history here either but I do on my local club forum and I have NEVER bashed a company or their product. NEVER. That is not what I am here to do. I am a small business owner myself so I can appreciate someone dealing with me first before dragging my name through the mud.

I am glad that I have found someone else that is having the same problem and I am still hopeful we can come to a resolution with JCR. Like I said in my post, I believe they have a great reputation (minus that taco bumper...oops) and I hope that persists in this scenario as well.

<-- Daryl from JCR.

First off, extremely sorry for any issues people have had thus far. We've got tech and engineering on it as we speak trying to figure out what is up. If you have had issues and haven't spoken up in this thread please shoot us an e-mail at tech@jcroffroad.com.

Heck yeah people can ask questions and post frustrations about product without being a complainer. We want to make the best product possible, listening to feedback and making corrections and updates is just part of that.

You certainly have the choice not to run our product, sorry to hear you feel we have a bad reputation. That picture is pretty funny, wonder how someone could get a tree shapped dent into the face of their bumper? It's a mystery... must have been poor quality

Great that you all chimed in. I love when companies care enough about the customers to do so. Says a lot.
I have no experience with any JCR, but absolutely love the look of your products. Your stubby front bumper and rear bumper were first on my list. I did in fact hear one bad thing to many and ended up with Poison Spyder. No way to know if they were justified complaints or not, but I wasn't willing to take the chance.
Wasn't trying to bash your company in any way, that pic was just funny to me(taco quote) I know nothing about the situation behind the pic. I'm well aware It can happen to any bumper on earth. Bad taste for me to post something that may discourage someone when I have no personal knowledge of your products. Sorry.
A guy locally bought a JCR front bumper and I'm going to help him install it. Maybe my opinion will change after I have first hand experience/knowledge about your products.

I appreciate you posting this reply. PS makes a fine product, so you certainly didn't make a bad choice. There is some drama surrounding that photo from another board, so if I came across snarky, I didn't mean it

Truth is everything has a bending or a breaking point. We don't claim we have indestructible products, but we have extremely strong products that toe the fine line between strength, weight, and appearance. We could certainly make everything out of 1/4"+ plate, but we don't feel it's worth the weight penalty. For those that do, there are a bunch of great American companies that make what they need.

Sorry for the rant, it was not directed at you or anyone in this thread really

Its nice to hear the real story of what happened. 30mph into a tree is no love tap. The jeep was protected and thats what matters most. Slap the stocker on and see what happens in the same scenario lol

JK-Experience East Coast 2015 - A Must Love Mud Experience! - JK-Forum

Some days you hit the trails hard and sometimes the trails hit back harder. As you can see from this pic while I was re-positioning my ram mount that was jarred loose, we also, earlier that day made made an offering to the off-road god’s by way of a front bumper, which made contact with a tree at 30+ mph while powering up a very steep, very rutted out hill filled with clay like mud. Fortunately, the day before while driving home from Lynchburg our air bag light starting chiming every time we turned the steering wheel–likely due to our clocking spring going out. This may have prevented our air bags from deploying–we hit so hard we thought for sure they would have. Fortunately everything else was OK, the winch worked, the frame had no damage–the bumper did it’s job.
Nice to know that the same bumper that's on my JK will take all the abuse I can throw at it and then some!

I ordered my fenders on Black Friday. Can't wait to get them. I'll let you know how they fit.

Still looking into it. We have a call out to our dealer/installers and have been compiling any other customer install issues. If you haven't already, I'd reach out to us at tech@jcroffroad.com for the most up to date info and help with your specific case.

Rest assured we have quite a few of these on the market installed without issue; so we are working through if this is a possible product fab variance, vehicle variance, or if the installation process is unclear.
