Default Transmission shift issues

I have a 2017 JKU with 4.56 gears and 37" tires. Since upgrading the gears and tires my transmission is not shifting properly. If you accelerate nice and easy, everything is fine but if you go more than say 1/4 throttle, I have to back off the pedal for it to shift. A friend has the same year JKU with 5.13 gears and his does the same thing. Tire and gear size has been changed using JSCAN.

Welcome to modified life

If I'm really getting on it (like getting on the interstate) mine will hold 3rd gear for a long time before shifting. I don't notice it as much in other gears. Your 4.56 gearing is still a bit high for 37s, so that might not be helping. I've got 4.88s with 37s and have also had 5.13 with same tires with my 3.6L. The reaction in 3rd gear has always been the same for me from what I recall.
