Nope all looks same to me. But then to make it all match proper for sensors etc all the external parts like intake and valve covers, pulleys, exhaust manifolds and oil pan and oil dipstick would be used off the JK engine anyway.

Ok that makes sense. I may just use the Jeep valve cover but it will bolt right on. No left to right swap. In reality for my swap it may be better to keep the oil fill on the passenger side because with mine being a RHD Jeep the brake cylinder is on the passenger side and well out of the way of the oil fill either way. I will probably just use the passenger side jeep valve cover.

Exactly everything outside the longblock will be switched over from the Jeep motor.

I noticed that in 2009 midyear caravan they put out a 4.0L
Is it the same block design-meaning, can it be interchanged with the 3.8L or is it a completely different engine?
There was a 50hp increase between the two but i have no idea if they are similar engines or not.

Been trying to get work done but all our weekends have been taken up. Today went to Danville, Ill to pick up my engine from the terminal. Started pulling the motor until I sliced a giant chunk of meat out of my finger. Tomorrow I will have the engine out and start swaping parts over.

I'm really wondering while you're pulling that all out, if it might be worth looking for a newer/less mileage trans as well? As you say in your video, the old engine had almost 300K miles on it. Kind of thinking a trans with 300K miles on it, can't be too far behind of needing replacement.
