I was planning on getting a Jeeperman swing away, after reading all the posts on here and other forums I changed my mind realy quick. I tried calling to place an order for weeks when they first came out and got nothing. It sucks to see what used to be a great company years ago go down the drain

Besides that...Powder coat is the fastest step in production?

All swingaways on order are shipping now. Since one of our dealers (Red Rock 4x4) bought all swingaways that were not sold already, we are again back ordered on new build orders.
$10.00 an hour, half a day. Hire someone to talk for you guys. It won't take long to educate a phone person.

I love the front bumper.... looks great with that big warn in it... looks fine on my JK with 37's. Need the back bumper though... I need a place to mount the spare and I've been waiting a long time. (Seth Hamilton, in Redmond Washington).

I do like your products, don't like the delay.

I would like to reiterate that we can be reached via e-mail. Send a message to info@jeeperman.com. Messages are responded to within, usually, the same business day. Once we're not in this back order, we will be able to answer the phones ourselves.
Right on! Can't wait! Seriously though, you guys would probably see your money multiply by investing in a sales person. I made the leap years ago and hired one, and in the end (years later) had a half dozen of them, and a half dozen support people. It was the leap of faith that made my company flourish! You have a good product, you need good PR and a solid point of contact, that makes the customers feel secure (and keeps them coming back, jeep after jeep after jeep).

I've heard nothing but great things about the quality of the Jeeperman products, but have had nothing but negative experience dealing with him. He doesn't return my calls and gives drastically underestimated ship dates. He did the same to Off Road Evolution, who placed a huge order before I did and received only one bumper in all that time.

I ordered 3 months ago and as he still does not return my calls, I am at the "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" point and am seeking a refund of my $1900. I would rather wait >3 months if I was told the truth about it.

EDITED:
[Later news: Coincidentally the bumper and carrier just arrived this afternoon. Total time was just under 3 months. No word yet on the trail rack and jerry can holders that I also ordered. - BD]

I LOVE that rear bumper Jeeperman makes...I mean I LOVE IT LOVE IT!...

The only one I like other then theirs is the PJ Rear bumper however I don't know if the PJ Bumper has the capacity to have a rear cargo basket like the Jeeperman one.

I have seen some of the others out there and they do look VERY well built. I just like the bumper to go from wheel flare to wheel flare.

If you ask around, we're not the only company that is getting slower than normal powder coating turn arounds. The complaints about not being able to reach us are only recent. When the bumper first came out, there was no problem getting through and placing an order direct or with one of our dealers. You see, all the first batch of orders has been long since shipped. Being located in Utah, you are just a hop away from a dealer that has a stocking order coming to them, why don't you buy one from them?

Funny thing is I actually do alot of business with powder coaters. I send atleast 300 pieces every 10 days. Anything from huge awnings to small sections of iron fencing. I almost always pick it up 2-3 days later, and at the latest 4 days. I was told oh yeah next week....oh yeah they had an issue with the process...now they are blah blah...now its shipping next week...oh fed-ex lost the package...or the infamous rain washed the ink of the shipping tag. It sucks because I did alot of business when Eddie owned the place and never had an issue. If it was going to be 8 weeks, I was told 8 weeks. When I called, somebody answered or atleast called back the same day. Since the new owner took over I cant even get as little as a call back. I sent 4 emails and did not get a single reply. I REALLY wanted one of your bumpers, but I'm simply afraid to hand my credit card number over to you, especially after hearing all the issues and people having to file claims to get their money back? Like I said before its a shame to see what was a great company crumble.

So, you've had product on order? Who are you and we can see what's going on? You can PM me your name if you don't feel comfortable disclosing who you are publicly. Three out of the four posts you've made on this forum are complaining about Jeeperman. The same login ID has a total of two posts on another forum and both were complaining about Jeeperman, so I would like to see what's going on. If you haven't ordered anything you have nothing to complain about. We've never had an issue refundng funds to a person that wants/wanted to cancel.
He's got a point here.

I'm too excited. Never figured a bumper would excite me so much but I can't wait! My Jeep looks goofy without a spare on the back and I'm really impressed with my Jeeperman front!

My name is Michael Reed...I never ordered from you (tyler) because I could never get through from email or telephone. Whats this stuff with property appraisal? That has nothing to do with anything? I have ordered many products from Jeeperman for my TJ over the last 3 years. I always talked to eddie. From time to time I would talk to another person, Kelly or Greg if I remember right. Now you tell me who's wrong...I can copy/paste atleast 25 posts on other forums that directed me away from your product, for the reasoning of bad customer service, non-reply, bad shipping dates, repeated lies on production and powder coating, and people actually filing claims with their credit card companies to get their money back. I dont know about you, but I would never want to see another fellow jeeper to be pulled around the ringer so I think its only fair to forward the information. Notice none of these problems have ever happened until the new owners took over?

I still think you guys have an amazing product for the JK, AMAZING! But I dont feel secure giving you $12-1300 for something I may never get, and when I dont get it, there is no explanation why, just an excuse. For the sake of the great product line I hope you guys pull out of the slump.

Seems pretty simple to me. If you don't like the service from Jeeperman, stop wasting your time complaining and just buy a high quality, great looking bumper from someone else. Oh damn........there are none. I for one have a Jeeperman rear bumper and waited a long time to get it. I can't speak for the service from Jeeperman, but I can and will speak very highly about Red Rock 4x4. Jason has always returned my calls and e-mails. If I had to do it all over again, I would deal with Red Rock and be willing to wait for however long to get a Jeeperman rear bumper.
