Default Jk 2 door control arm length

Hi
I just purchased some upper and lower rear adjustable control arms for my 2 door rubicon with a 3 inch lift.

I am looking for what starting length I should use for them. It seems like stock is 19" 3/4 for the lowers and 17" 13/16 for the uppers.
What lengths should I set the new adjustable ones?
I have a 3 inch lift w 35's.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Remove 1 arm first then place the arms (one at a time) on top of the original arm with the bolts going through one end first then adjust to get both bolts in. That is the starting point to add the extra length that Dirtman is talking about. You really should have at least front adjustable lowers to get the caster back for steering.

I have relocation brackets in front. With that, are control arms helpful?

Are shims needed for the springs?

Wrong guy to ask about relocation brackets. My mindset in suspension thoughts are if it is a shortcut and cheap it can't be the best. I use adjustable LCAs on a 2.5" lift and at first I was lazy and first ran the springs with stock control arms. Installed the new adjustables and what a difference.

Gosh, if that aint the truth.

If you are fine with the little bit of lost clearance the control arm brackets eat up, and they get you to an acceptable caster, then you don't need adjustable arms up front. You'll actually have a better ride with the brackets, but it all just depends on how you use your jeep.

Sorry. I meant rear spring wedges.

I take a cut off wheel to the two rear tabs of the coil perch and then bend the rear of the perches up about 1/2" and weld a small tab so it is connected back to the axle. Solves the issue with bowing coils.
