Default JK manual swap.

ive grown a little bored of the automatic, even though it does help in the trails. it gets boring the other half of the time.

For a swap would it make more sense just to trade it in and get a manual jeep?

otherwise id have to find someone who wants an auto. Thanks!

15 JK 2 door.

I want to go from manual to auto but we are way to far away. And yes, there are many parts to change.

Much like the old 4 cylinder to 6 cylinder question, a different Jeep is the best answer

Yes, it would make more sense to trade it...then in 2 more years when you're "bored" of the manual you can trade back.

I too would sell it or trade it in and then buy a manual Jeep.

New JK's aren't the same animals as the old CJs of the past. While mechanically the swap will consist of swapping out (a lot) of parts, you have to contend with all of the wiring, sensors and ECM/CAN BUS stuff associated with newer vehicles. As previous posters have said, time to trade your Jeep out if you want the manual. I am a manual guy myself, but I will say that the NAG1 5 speed you have in your Jeep is a superior transmission to the NSG370 in terms of durability, not that the NSG370 is a bad transmission but if your'e stuck with an auto that is the one to be stuck with.

Quick Reply: JK manual swap.
