Default JK Passenger Airbag Recall - Dash panel no bueno!

Anyone seen this? Had my passenger airbag recall done and now the dash panel that runs under grab bars and wraps around wont stay in place. Been back to dealer, the adjusted and made it better, now its back to the same old game. When really hot, it rolls back just far enough to where the clip closest to driver side pops all the way out. Pretty disappointing. Talked to corporate, the dont seem to care. Said not in warranty and "searched database and found no other complaints". Svc advisor said he's seen it before, said once you remove them they're never the same.

that's not good...I've been getting calls from the dealership to go get this done. They want to do both driver and passenger air bags since they have it in.

Funny how according to Chrysler I'm the only one with the problem yet the dealer has seen it before. I'd rather take a chance on the shrapnel to the head if the airbag went off than to have the dash popping out daily!!!

That is unacceptable. I would pitch a royal fit like a 5 yr old at chucky cheese.

Yikes. No charge, except you will want to replace the dash panel afterward! I'm sure stealership will be happy to sell you one before you leave..........

They about set my jeep on fire after I let them do a tranmission line recall. I've totally ignored an electric mirror recall, and I have a good thought about taking my chances on this as stupid as that might sound to some.

Default if its not broke

leave it alone is my thought ! ive had no issue on this. but im not bringing mine to have them mess up things , thats a given they will mess the jeep up some how has anyone had good luck w/ recall on this ? if mine even needs it i got some card but not from chrysler it was from TK holding and does not specify vehicle or exact issue with problems and those that are not subjected to it. Just not enough info and not from Chrysler . (so not doing it) mines a 2012

Mine was done and there were no issues. Sounds like the dealer may be the problem, and that may be why corporate hasn't seen it before. Make them get a new panel and put it on there, or take it to another dealer.

I'd at least make them pull it off and show me they had not broken any tabs. My money says that's exactly what they did.

wow that sucks, I'd keep going back till their sick of me and fix it
How can 11 & 13's be affected by this recall and not 12's that's what my dealer told me and showed me as proof on the computer doesn't make sense ?
