I swapped it out and it works great! In fact, it's way better than my old one even when it was new. It's much quieter, smoother and it makes noticeably more power. I think I had a bum supercharger from the start! This one is definitely a big improvement.
Awesome... Glad to hear... BTW what tuner are you using?

I think I put in Bosch platinum stock gap at .050

I'm pretty happy with sprintexs customer service! The new supercharger runs way better than my old one!

I ran the bosch Double Platinum for a while... Since I am working with innovate on the tuning process (Yes they are doing a lot to get things right) they wanted me to put OEM Champion ones in and I did, I could feel a difference between the two.

Difference how? Champions "better"? Or worse than the Bosch? Same gap between?

Default Sprintex repair

Hi all - ran into same issue - Sprintex slowly ran out of oil and grenaded. Worked with G Turner at Sprintex, they shipped a new assembly out that day - great service. Installed - its definitely a little quieter, power is about same - but I'm still fighting a bit of ping at WOT. I richened the tune, better, but still have ping - may need to retard timing - anyone have same issues?

Default Good service

I am in South Africa. Many miles away from the U.S and Australia. I had quite good service from the Sprintex guys in Australia. Had lots of tune issues which are MOSTLY resolved and was dealing with Jay Upton via email. Having said that he has not replied to my last couple of emails and the only thing I can think of is that he has been busy with SEMA. Anyway I am pretty happy with the product. Happy enough to splash for the intercooler if only I could get someone to come back to me so I can order it.

I have a 2011 and the tune seems to be more problematic than the others. I keep reading about CARB certified tunes on the various web sites but cant get my hands on one.

good luck guys. Basically I think its an OK product let down by its software.

The latest Hypertech tune has been released. There has been approximately 6-8 weeks of dedicated testing on 2 Jeep JK's to fine tune the system. If you have the Hypertech Tuner, you need to return your Jeep to the Stock tune and upload the latest tune. Once the tune is installed on your Tuner hook it back up to the Jeep and upload the new tune in your ECU. If you have any questions feel free to PM or email me at so-cal4x4@att.net

You can download the new tune here:
