Jk Wrangler Leveling kit or JK 1.5" Performance Leveling
Jk Wrangler Leveling kit or JK 1.5" Performance Leveling?
Since I'm installing 35s on my 2drs, 2011 Rubi, I'm still researching how to best accommodate the tires. I came across a 1.5 Jk Wrangler Leveling kit and a JK 1.5" Performance Leveling (Both by Teraflex). Both add 2" to front and a 1” the rear. The 1.5 Jk Wrangler Leveling kit is coil spacers kit and it's cheaper. The JK 1.5" Performance Leveling comes with new springs. Which one should I get? |
Sent you a pm.....
Thanks..... |

If you intend to add heavy bumpers, then the coils would probably be the way to go. They won't sag as much as the spacers and stock springs. Keep in mind though that teraflex says this kit will clear up to a 34" tire. You will definitely be rubbing at flex with 35s, unless you go with flat fenders and/or extended bumpstops. May also need to trim your pinch seam.as well.
I personally went with the spacer version of this kit. Should be arriving next week. It was cheap and won't be anything that I'll take a huge loss on when I upgrade to a Teraflex 2.5" coil lift of Rock Krawler Stock Mod in the future. |

I need to replace both drive shafts and put some stock springs back on to avoid any more issues for the time being. |
Big lifts = big $$
There is more to consider than just the lift itself. Shocks, extended bump stops, extended brake lines, wheels or spacers, axles, gears, gussets, etc etc etc. |
