JKS Front Track Bar Brace Questions

So I am thinking of getting the JKS front track bar brace. I am wondering a few things..

I see it comes with its own sleeve bushing, what is that for?

Do it mount the track bar through the same OEM holes, or does it move it up higher?

The JKS track bar brace allows you to mount the track bar in the stock location or re-locate if you have a high steering conversion. The sleeve bushing is used when you re-locate the track bar. The only issue I had was with the steering stabilizer. If you use the position the track bar brace provides, you are going to need a stabilizer with spherical bushings. However, Gokracer1 showed me a way to use the Teraflex HD stabilizer utilizing the Woods re-location bracket. Let me know if you want some pics of it installed. I also have the install instructions I can send you. Just PM your e-mail address.

on the JKS site it says for lifts 3" and up... no issues running it with your OME kit?

The brace is only for lifted applications? I thought it worked on stock as well..

No issues at all. With lifts 3" and lower when you are not running a high steer conversion, just use the stock location. The JKS brace has two mounting points...stock location and a relocated position.

Yes, you can use it on stock applications. In fact, I had it installed before I installed the OME lift.

There are no good offroad shops by me. Is it better okay to have a welding place do this, or should it be someone who works on Jeeps?

The instructions are pretty straightforward, and anyone with good welding skills can do it.
