However, Gokracer1 showed me a way to use the Teraflex HD stabilizer utilizing the Woods re-location bracket. Let me know if you want some pics of it installed. I also have the install instructions I can send you. Just PM your e-mail address.
Can you post up some pictures.
Thanks,

Does anyone have any pics of this? I want to install the JKS track bar bracket and have the tereflex ss. I would like to see it work with the woods bracket.

Here is a post I put up. I used a QA1 for the spherical bushing. I mounted the stabilizer outside of the bracket with a grade 8 bolt.

Well, not just anyone. Make sure that if they are not used to welding on newer vehicles w/ sensitive electronics that they hook a surge suppressor up to your battery. You could accidentally fry your jk's computer if you don't.

I did see that earlier but i don't see the woods bracket on that. looking for the JKS brace with the woods relocation bracket bolted to the JKS brace, someone said it would work but can't find any other info.

Default 2 Questions

1) Mounting Position: I recently had the JKS trackbar brace installed (welded) and the installer put the trackbar in the upper mounting location. I read the instructions and it says to use upper mount for high steering conversions, which I don't have, but my installer thougt that using the upper mount would compensate for the lift. I have a 2" budget lift and use the factory track bar. Should I leave the trackbar in the upper mounting position or move it down? (If I go to a 3.25" lift should I use the upper or lower trackbar mount?)

2) When the factory trackbar bracket broke its welds it took the SS with it so I have to buy a new one. What should I purchase to use with the JKS that fits without any problems? Should I just get a factory style upgrade and use a spacer like the directions say? Honestly, I am not sure 1/2" ID spherical bearing is that is referred to. Despite what I read on this forum, the JKS instructions and my installer thought a factory style steering stabilizer would work (may need a small spacer but that is is). I need to order something pretty soon so any ideas and info would much appreciated.

Default 1 Question Answered

I just got a hold of my buddy who is a Jeep tech who explained trackbar geometry to help me understand proper placement. The Trackbar and the Drag link (from the pitman arm to the knuckle) should be as parallel as possible to prevent bumpsteer. So the upper mount on the JKS bracket really is only when you put a high steering system in which isn't needed until you get really tall. So I will be relocating the trackbar back to the lower factory placement and when I take the next step in lift I'll get an adjutstable track bar.

Getting what I'll call a 'normal' steering stabilizer to work properly is a tall order.

I recommend you simply spend the extra 60 bucks and have David @ Northridge send you the damper he had spec'd for this application, the QA1 Motorsports damper w/spherical ends.

I put one on my JK when I installed the JKS front TB brace and it's a very sturdy, well made unit.

JKS front track bar bracket with Wood's SS relocation bracket. Any standard size SS should fit with this setup.
