JKS Sway bar disconnects Question
When using the disconnects on an "X"...do you need to buy extended brake lines for the front to have the increased flex without tearing the lines out....basically are the Rubicon brake lines any longer than the "X"?
You don't have to extend them at all. I've had my X completely flexed and still plenty of room to spare on the lines :)
Good info I was wondering this myself. I wasn't sure if you could just disconnect a stock X or not or if modification was required.
Appreciate the quick response...ordering my disconnects now....
sorry to switch topic but why did u select the jks instead of other companies quick discos? just wondering because im getting some this week and im not sure which to get myself.
I chose them for the name. They've been around a LONG time and know what they're doing when it comes to upgrades. They're quick, easy and very strong.
that was gonna be my next question. How well they had worked assuming you had used them already. I was reading another forum and the guy who had the JKS said they were really hard to put back together once you had disconnected them. is that true? or was it a user problem?
I'm installing a set of these hopefully tonight. Very impressed with the build quality. Nice pieces.
ok well thats good to hear then. I was afraid i was gonna have to just save and get the E-connects because i didnt want the crazy trouble this guy was describing. Thanks for the input. It was most helpful. Would you also recommend the JKS?

The shocks act as a limit strap to stop the suspension from hurting the brake lines
