I love them! They look great, no hood flutter, BUT Sok66 is right. The loops do get stuck under the hood when you are trying to close it. Its not a big deal but it might get annoying later down the road. haha

Are these able to be flipped upside down so the latch doesn't get caught?

If the drilling is absolutely necessary it seems it would be best to do some repainting afterwards prior to installing the latches. I would have to imagine seeing rust streaks running down from the sides of those latches over time would be an unwelcome consequence without repainting.
