Just pulled the trigger on a BB and wheel spacers...
That's all I'm looking for! The bumper will have to be my next mental dilemma... Rake and winch or no rake and no winch? But that's a different thread I guess.
Will you NEED the winch? Will you be doing hard trails where you might need a winch? I don't do anything hard. I do light offroading, so getting a bumper (other than for looks) and a winch would be waste of money. That's for me! I would like to get a different bumper. But I don't NEED it.
Think about wants and needs. Maybe with a 2.5" lift, you'll wanna look into exhaust spacers (I forget your year jeep. If you have 3.6L you need spacers). Instead of a bumper and a winch, maybe look into new mirror if you take the doors off.
or get tthe bumper and winch. That's fine too. The good thing about Jeeps, its your jeep. Make it your rig.
I'm just trying to help you out. Maybe depending on the bumper it won't weigh much. Compare weights when your looking at bumpers too.

Well here it is...
It took 4 hours on the ground no lift and we had air tools so it made it go easier then turning wrenches... I am very pleased with the ride height and look... First thing I did was park next to a stock Jeep for sale at the local dealership...

I am still running my RC 2.5 BB.. works really well for what it is. i like that the spacers are steel instead of Tera's poly. less change of failure. i was running 1.5 spacers as well until recently when i moved up to 35's and went with a 15'' wheel

As far as the winch, it is not a NEED per say, I really only do greens and blues at Rausch. I have been winched off high center once but that's running stock with rubi takeoff shocks and tires. If I add the 2.5" BB I would go to 285/75-17 MAYBE 35's... which that alone would help. I like the look of the different bumpers (hate the stock look) and figured I might as well add the winch because its never a bad thing to have. I have gone slow with the few little things I've added because of the want VS need thing. That's actually why I didn't do the lift yet... that and no garage to be putting on a lift in 10-20* temps!
I have a garage, but jeep doesn't fit in it. So when its time for inspection in March, and I gotta put the stock tires on, I'm hoping its not freezing!
Having used TF's products in the past, I would say their stuff is just ok imo and I would look elsewhere for a coil lift but their spacer kits are reasonable if thats what you intend to run. I don't like their end links, theres better out there and I have experienced failure with their links a couple of times but maybe thats just me.
I'm currently running their 1.5" level kit (pucks) and it initially leveled out the Jeep pretty good, after about 18-20K miles there's a slight rake again. Not sure if its the pucks or the OEM springs but I'm not running any extra weight up front so who knows, haven't looked into it yet doesn't bother me all that much since I kind of despise the factory springs/shocks in my '13 Sahara so I'm actually looking to implement a new solution myself, but with a more complete coil lift to improve over stock.
Personally, I'm glad I went with the 1.5" level kit over the 2.5" TF kits I considered like the puck or coil initially. It gave me time to live with my Jeep for a while, mess around with wheels and tires, and understand better what mods I would need down the road with out sacrificing too much of a budget today for tomorrows upgrades. I ran 35's with my 1.5" level kit on stock fenders and cut the wings off the front the air dam. Zero clearance issues whatsoever. I wouldn't wheel it like that, so I picked up some Bushwacker Flats and now I can wheel with little issue on moderate trails if at all. I wan't 2.5" of lift now for a meaner stance and ability to be a lil less timid if I have to be more aggressive off road while improving the ride on pavement with better shocks and springs.
All though JEEP could stand for Just Empty Every Pocket, doesn't mean empty it all right now. If you will add weight to the front end, not sure what rates your front coils on your rig are from factory but you should certainly expect some droop there. You could compensate this with the pucks as you already know or just use a better spring. If you know what you want, go straight to a coil set up, you won't regret it and you won't spend money twice. If you are like I was, messing around till you figured out what you really wanted, go for a spacer kit and see where you end up.
Good luck!

Yeah I'm happy overall with stock performance. Just want a more aggressive look and ability to fit 35's without cutting fenders. I just am not sure I like the flat fender look yet... Love the idea of 35's without lift but not the look yet. I was looking at the leveling kit but knew I wouldn't be able to get big enough tires AND be able to disconnect and wheel. So I either need flat fenders or the 2.5" lift. The BB is cheaper than bought fenders and can be resold at a good price if I opt for flat fenders or coil lift. The dilemma never ends. Looking at the BB it will do what I need off road for now I think. Time and weather need to cooperate then I think that's the way I want to go. May not be the cheapest in the long run but but will suit my needs for now.
