Km2 or mtr kevlars??
I have run two different sets of MTR's, one 35" and one 37".
As mentioned above, if you like mud, go KM2. For whatever reason, the KM2's just do better in the mud. I have followed a friend in the mud. His 37" km2, my 37" MTR's...all other set up detials were very similar including tire pressure. His did better in the mud.
On the rocks, they seem to be fairly equal. I prefer the MTR and have really got a lot of performance out of mine. When aired down to 10 or less, they grip rock hard. I have not had any sidewall issues. Both my sets have balanced out nicely.
I don't think you can go wrong with either tire; however, my 37" MTR measures 36.5"(8" wide wheel, 28 psi), the KM2 on a smiliar set up measures almost a full inch shorter. Can't speak for the measurement of the 35" KM2s.
