im going to be getting 18" black rockstars with 35's. not sure on the tire yet, but ive been hearing storys on kmc products like they break easy paint comes off are these true?? and can someone show me what 18" rockstars look like in a 2 door??

I dont think the finish scratches any easier than any other rim. The design on the rim pushes it out almost to the outside, therefore making it more easily scratched by rocks or whatever. I think they look badass but there is a lot of haters. Probably not the best if you do a lot of wheeling.

I have a set of Rock Stars and I have not seen any irregular scratches other than those that I have put on myself. I love my wheels and I think they are well made so go for it!

I like mine, I take them wheeling alot and aside from self inflicted damage, they have held up well. If you don't mind spending a ton on tires, go for it.

A friend has them on a Ford F350 and they look great. He says he loves them and hasn't noticed any issues.
On a side note, the star looks a lot like the Willies WWII star. Pretty cool on a Jeep in my opinion.
