Lift for 35" tires???? Noob

I'm sure this has been posted before and I have done a lot of research regarding what lift is best but I'm still confused. I have a 2012 stock jk unlimited that I use as my DD. I want to run 35" tires but want a lift where I don't have to do additional mods. I understand that I may be able to get a 2.5 " and 35s should fit fine but there is concern about rubbing. I do a lot of beach driving as well so that is a concern. I'm thinking that if I go over 2.5 that ill have to extend the exhaust. What route should I go to get the lift that I need??

Go with the 2.5 lift. If you have any more concern about rubbing cut your fenders, or put on flat fenders. As log as your wheels have the right back spacing you will be fine.

i don't own a 2012, but i have a 2.5inch JKS lift and 35 duratracs. its great but i might add 1/2inch spacers front and rear to get 3 inch. i can't comment on the exhaust but if your not doing serious crawling and flexing you should be golden! make sure you get wheels spacers or a 4.5 offset wheel to 35s to fit. i got rid of my sahara 18's and went with a 16inch wheel and tire combo

Thanks for the info! Most of the driving I will be doing is beach when I'm off roading. Another thing I was wondering about was regearing. Is that something I should consider?

I'm getting the AES DualSport 2.5" kit installed on Monday. AES only makes kits and parts specifically for JK's. I was considering a Teraflex 2.5" with Fox 2.0 shocks, but with the AES kit you get everything you need and don't have to add exhaust spacers. From the reviews I've read and folks I've talked to running this kit there is nothing that compares for both on and off road performance.

Yes, I ordered the Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets as well, per AEV's recommendation. I ordered everything from AEV directly.

I don't get northridge...there prices are more expensive than the manufacturer. They give you free shipping but you pay more for the product anyway??:dontknow2:

Maybe I'm missing something?? Never ordered from them.

Sorry for going a little off topic.
